However, their performance in the competition often lasts only a fleeting moment and has minor impact on final scores. In recognition of the team&#8217;s design capabilities, we come up with this game.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Each team will have up to 3 chances to participate in this challenge.<\/li>\n\n<li>During each round, each team can launch up to 10 drones.<\/li>\n\n<li>There are 3 designated drone landing areas (5-gallon buckets), positioned according to FTC rules.<\/li>\n\n<li>Each landing area has a its own score defined according to FTC rules.<\/li>\n\n<li>Teams earn a bonus score if all 3 drone landing areas are occupied; in such cases, the total score is doubled.<\/li>\n\n<li>All other scoring rules for each task follow those outlined in the FTC Center Stage game (<a href=\"https:\/\/firstinspiresst01.blob.core.windows.net\/first-in-show-ftc\/game-manual-part-2-traditional.pdf\">game manual here<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n<li>At the end of each round, sum up all scores.<\/li>\n\n<li>The highest score achieved across the three rounds will be used as the final metric score.<\/li>\n\n<li>If there is a tie for the highest score, the second highest score will be used to break the tie. If there is still a tie, the third score will be considered.
